Legendary Weapons[edit]
Most Legendary weapons in the game are swords, tailored toward the melee class. However, other forms of legendary items do exist for other playstyles.
There are currently seven Legendary swords all with varying effects. Most of the Legendary swords have a ~1.3 SPS (swings per second), and lack the consistency of the basic weapons. The Legendary swords compensate for this by having higher damage, special effects and attack twice per swing. Legendary items can only be found on floors four and below on golden pedestals. The chances of finding a legendary item increases as you venture deeper into the dungeon.
Most Legendary swords have a special effect which randomly activates on hitting an enemy, and a "ultimate" ability that rarely activates on hitting an enemy. With the introduction of v1.2.4, the chance of an effect from double bladed swords has been normalized to 10% across the board. This chance can be boosted to 30% if the wielder is also wearing melee-class armour.

Gram is obtained from a floating book, rather than a gold pedestal. Upon obtaining the Gram it is soulbound and can't be dropped or traded, and it disappears on death.

Ranging from bows, staves, and one-time use spell scrolls, AoD features an assortment of other legendary items that players can obtain. Note that T3 armours also classify as legendaries!
