Magic
Magic uses the resource of mana, which regenerates over time. Armor changes the generation rate (See Magic Armor Below) and if you stand still for 10 seconds, your mana regeneration will double. Additionally, there are Mana Potions that can be bought in town, or found in dungeon shops and boss/miniboss drops.

A player's maximum mana can increase through leveling up, interacting with altars in the dungeon, or randomly while using the Body and Mind Legendary sword. (See Legendaries) Alternatively, it can be decreased through curses.

There are also Scroll Variants of every spell, which costs no mana but are a one-time use per scroll. Scroll versions of a spell typically have an intrinsic boost to their spell damage, and ignore the spell damage modifier of any armor you're wearing. There is a rare spell that can only be found in scroll form on lower floors, this spell is Sunburst.
Staves
Spells can be cast with the command
/cast
or
/c
followed by the spell you would like to cast (e.g.
/cast frostshards
). This method cannot be used in combat. However, it is also possible to bind spells to a staff with the command
/autocast
followed by the spell you would like to cast (e.g.
/autocast frostshards
). This method can be used in combat. When using a staff to cast a spell, the mana cost of the spell can be reduced depending on which staff you use. (e.g. Using the spell frostshards on an ice staff saves 40% of the mana cost).
There are 5 melee weapon tiers. Each scaling in strength, from weakest to strongest, there is Bronze, Iron, Steel, Mithril, and Adamantite.

Legendary Weapons
Most Legendary weapons in the game at the moment are swords, tailored toward the melee class. However, a legendary bow and a legendary staff do exist.

There are currently seven Legendary swords all with varying effects. They are Fire and Ice', 'Body and Mind', 'Light and Shadow', 'Feast and Famine', 'War and Peace', 'Draggon Dagger (p++)', and 'Gram. All of the Legendary swords have a ~1.3 APS (attacks per second), compared to that of the basic swords that have a ~4 APS. The Legendary swords compensate for this by having higher damage and special effects.
Legendary items can only be found on floors four and below on golden pedestals. The chances of finding a legendary item increases as you venture deeper into the dungeon.

Most Legendary swords have a special effect which randomly activates on hitting an enemy, and a "ultimate" ability that rarely activates on hitting an enemy.

Rattman: Removed linking instruments to legendary pedastals as they are now acquired in another way.

Floors are large areas in the dungeon. There are """six""" in total, with enemies getting stronger the farther down you venture. In addition, minibosses and bosses can be found in arenas on all floors. The way to get to lower floors is via randomly generated staircases. Altars are randomly generated structures that can choose to give you a blessing, but be aware that this is based on alignment. Some altars will favor chaotically aligned adventurers, whereas some prefer those who're lawful instead. Shops can also randomly spawn, with a selection of 4 items on shelves for lowered prices than things in town (if they are in town at all). Legendary pedastals are another randomly generated structure and from them you will be able to buy legendary weapons and instruments for large amounts of gold.

Floor 1: Ground
Floor 1 is the ground floor, also referred to as floor 0. The general environment is a grassy area enclosed by gray walls and woodland areas. On floor 1, there are weak bugs to murder for a little gold and EXP. Floor 1 is home to the Troll Boss.

Floor 2: Cave
Floor 2 is a few bricks underground. It is nearly entirely comprised of dirt, with the floor being quite rough. It has slightly stronger enemies than the first floor, but they're mostly the same. This floor introduces Goblins and Bug Queens, also known as spitters. Floor 2 is home to the Spider Boss.

Floor 3: Temple
Floor 3 is further down than floor 2, and has a distinct temple aesthetic. Sometimes, rooms will generate with ivy or moss on the walls and floor. Floor 3 introduces cicadas and spiders. The enemies on floor 3 are also quite strong, so you'll want to have some upgraded stats and equipment before going in. Minibosses spawn on floor 3 and below.

Floor 4: Magma
Floor 4 has a molten aesthetic, and appears to be made out of heated rock. Enemies are intense here, so be prepared. Legendary pedestals start to appear on floors 4 and lower.

Floor 5: Flesh
Floor 5 is made of flesh, and is quite horrific. Enemies here are even stronger than ones on floor 4, so be careful in combat.

Floor 6: Simulation
Floor 6 is made to look like a crude simulation of floor 1. The enemies here are the strongest ones in the game. Good luck.

Trivia
- Staircases can sometimes spawn on top of each other, creating an extremely odd looking area.

- The pedastals that spawn legendary items can spawn on a staircase, leaving a floating pedastal.

- If you get more than 5 growths with the Feast & Famine you cannot go down staircases anymore. [verification needed]

- Before the various tilesets for floors 4 and lower were completed, rooms were relatively blank. What constituted as stairs was three columns that the players needed to jump on to get onto a higher floor. Depending on what level you were, sometimes you couldn't get out!

All Legendaries are rarely found on Golden Pedestals on floor four and below.

Most Legendary swords have a special effect which randomly activates on hitting an enemy, and a "ultimate" ability that rarely activates on hitting an enemy.

A players maximum mana increases every level, and can also be raised by interacting with altars in the dungeon. Or by using the Legendary sword Body and Mind (See Legendaries)

Staves
Spells can be cast with the command /cast or /c followed by the spell you would like to cast (e.g. /cast frostshards). This method can not be used in combat. However, it is also possible to bind spells to a staff with the command /autocast followed by the spell you would like to cast (e.g. /autocast frostshards). This method can be used in combat. The staff will decrease the cost of any spell you cast while hosting it which matches the its element. (e.g. Using the spell frostshards on an ice staff saves 40% of the mana cost).
Bows use arrows to fire, so you need to manage your resources to use a bow. Arrows can be obtained from dungeon shops as well as from treasure chests and bosses/minibosses. Arrows also have a recovery chance depending on which bow you're using, and armor you're wearing (See Ranged Armor below).
The base amount of arrows a player can hold is 25, but this can be raised with ranger armor (See Ranged Armor below) or by holding Quiver's in ones' inventory. There are 10-slot quivers sold in town for 100 gold and 25-slot quivers that can be found in the dungeon from boss/miniboss drops.

Legendary Weapons
The only Legendary weapons in the game at the moment are swords, tailored toward the melee class.

There are currently 7 Legendary swords all with varying effects. They are Fire and Ice', 'Body and Mind', 'Light and Shadow', 'Feast and Famine', 'War and Peace', 'Draggon Dagger (p++)', and 'Gram. All of the Legendary swords have a ~1.3 attack speed (attacks per second), compared to that of the basic swords that have a ~4 attack speed. The Legendary swords compensate for this by having higher damage and special effects.
All Legendaries are rarely found on Golden Pedestals on floor 3 and below.

Most Legendary swords have a special effect which randomly activates on hitting an enemy, and a "ultimate" ability that rarely activates on hitting an enemy.
Minibosses are found on Floor 3 and below, there are two known ones which are the Scorpion Boss and the Mantis Boss. Both have fairly decent health points and hit quite hard on early level players and are recommended to be taken down as a team.

They typically spawn in large rooms with many other minions that inflict damage from melee and range. The Mantis is unique in that it can cause a unique curse that can only be cured upon death. The Scorpion also has a nasty poison attack that inflicts 20 ticks of poison damage.

Town (or spawn) is the area in which all players spawn and recall to. It is full of shops and NPCs, and has a healing fountain. It also has a secret area. A bank is also here, so players can store items. Guards are stationed around town to kill Player Killers if they stay too long.

Shops
The shops that are in town are:

- Potion shop

This shop sells all kinds of potions, from health to mana to antipoison to XP. It also sells all sizes of potions.

- Armor shop

This shop sells all tiers of armor (except for legendary armor). It also contains the entrance to the secret area.

- Melee/Ranged shop

This shop sells bronze, iron, steel, and mithril variants of daggers, battleaxes, shortswords, and longswords. It also sells the Novice, Apprentice, Master, and Scatter bows, as well as arrows and quivers. There are potions and scrolls on shelves as well. The shopkeeper is a bald man with a steel Ceyl and an eyepatch. This shop contains one of the keys required to get into the secret area.

- Magic shop

This shop sells Earthstrike, Flashfire, Frostshards, Greaterhealally, Healally, Heal, Lesseralchemy, Lesserheal, and Shadowbolt spells, as well as Earthstrike, Flashfire, Frostshards, Greaterhealally, Healally, Heal, Lesserheal, Recall, and Shadowbolt scrolls. The shopkeeper appears to be a warlock with a witches hat and an unknown staff.

- Cart

This shop sells a bronze dagger and a recall scoll.

No shop in town sells legendary weapons or instruments.

Secret Area
To get to the secret area, one must first collect 4 keys. These keys are in chests in the following areas: On a roof, in a shop, under a bridge, and behind a cart. Then the entrance is inside of the armor shop, up a staircase. Once in the secret area, there is no way out except for a recall scroll.

Trivia
- The town has many opportunities for parkour and large jumps, making this a fun activity when you're bored.

- The town appears slightly overgrown and rustic, suggesting the citizens dont really care about landscaping.
- Before the current town, there was another one that had simpler buildings.
