There are three entities that are prevalent over the dungeons in AoD. By currying favor with them by sacrificing items or paying tithes at their altars, players can tap into various forms of assistance by their deity in the dungeon.

The three deities are:

Sarmina, the deity of those who are Lawful. The goddess who ensures law and order in the world, Sarmina's appearance is "nondescript".

Sekhmet, the deity of those who are Neutral. Referred to as a wanderer amongst worlds, Sekhmet oft takes the appearance of a "nyan-binary cat".

<span style="color:magenta;>þamorik, the deity of those who are Chaotic. An "evil chaos mage in a tower somewhere with godlike power", þamorik's main objective with the dungeon is unknown, but seems to be the reason for FrostFire Mage's and Dark Wraith's appearance in the dungeon.

Each deity has a preference when fulfilling certain prayers and will fulfill those prayers without using up more of the player's alignment points.

Sarmina prefers prayers regarding curse removal and has high alignment costs for crafting or "crowning". Sarmina has the shortest prayer cooldown of only 20 seconds.

Sekhmet prefers requests for healing or food and has no general downside with prayers. Sekhmet has a prayer cooldown of 40 seconds.

<span style="color:magenta;>þamorik prefers prayers regarding crafting or crowning, but has high alignment costs for most everything else. <span style="color:magenta;>þamorik has the longest prayer cooldown of <span style="color:magenta;>120 Seconds.
Prayer Power
Prayer Power is what allows players to successfully pray. When using an altar of any alignment, if the player's prayer power is less than 100%, they can pay a tithe to restore it to 100%. Each prayer has their own Prayer Power value.

Healing
Praying for healing will help the player in a pinch for instant health. Healing values varies on how much piety the player has. (/pray healing) For the prayer to be successful, the player must have less than 50% HP. This prayer uses 75% of the player's Prayer Power. Healing is calculated as such:

#If the player's piety is less than 70, they will be healed for 50HP.
#If the player's piety is less than 700, they will be healed for 100HP.
#If the player's piety is greater than or equal to 700, they will be healed for 500HP.

These prayers as Neutral are 2.3x cheaper than <span style="color:blue";>Lawful, while these prayers as <span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic are 2.14x more expensive than <span style="color:blue";>Lawful. Piety costs are as such:

<span style="color:blue";>Lawful: 7 piety, 14 piety, 140 piety respectively

Neutral: 3 piety, 6 piety, 60 piety respectively

<span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic: 15 piety, 30 piety, 300 piety respectively

Food
Praying for food is more piety effective than healing, but requires the player to wait for the full healing. The Food item varies on how much the piety the player has. (/pray food) For the prayer to be successful, the player must have less than 90% HP. This prayer uses 25% of the player's Prayer Power. The Food item is calculated as such:
#If the player's piety is less than 15, they will be given a small food item.
#If the player's piety is less than 150, they will be given a medium food item.
#If the player's piety is greater than or equal to 150, they will be given a large food item.

These prayers as Neutral are 3x cheaper than <span style="color:blue";>Lawful, while these prayers as <span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic are 2x more expensive than <span style="color:blue";>Lawful. Piety costs are as such:

<span style="color:blue";>Lawful: 1.5 piety, 4.5 piety, 30 piety respectively

Neutral: 0.5 piety, 1.5 piety, 10 piety respectively

<span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic: 3 piety, 9 piety, 60 piety respectively

Poison
Praying for a cure for poison can mostly or entirely remove the player's poison stacks. (/pray for a cure to poison) This prayer uses 50% of the player's Prayer Power. Calculations are as such:
#If the player's piety is less than 15 and the player has less than or equal to 20 stacks of poison, they are cured of poison.
#If the player's piety is less than 100 and the player has less than or equal to 40 stacks of poison, they are cured of poison.
#If the player's piety is greater than or equal to 100, they will be cured of 120 poison stacks.

These prayers as Neutral are 2.5x cheaper than <span style="color:blue";>Lawful, while these prayers as <span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic are 2.2x more expensive than <span style="color:blue";>Lawful. Piety costs are as such:

<span style="color:blue";>Lawful: 5 piety, 15 piety, 100 piety respectively

Neutral: 2 piety, 6 piety, 40 piety respectively

<span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic: 11 piety, 33 piety, 220 piety respectively

Curses
Curses can be removed via prayers, but only by one at a time. (/pray remove curse) This prayer uses 100% of the player's Prayer Power. Piety costs are as such:

<span style="color:blue";>Lawful: 100 piety

Neutral: 200 piety

<span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic: 300 piety

Crafting
Whilst in the dungeon, players can come across various items through miniboss/boss drops. Serving no immediate purpose to the player, if they're able to keep a hold of it for long enough and has a combination of items in their inventory, they can combine multiple items to create substantially stronger items. (/pray crafting) This prayer uses 25% of the player's Prayer Power. Piety costs are as such:

<span style="color:blue";>Lawful: 500 piety

Crowning
Crowns provide a strong passive effect at the cost of initial piety and piety drain. (/pray crowning) Crowns also take up one of the player's inventory slots, and are soulbound. They do not consume piety while your in town.

<span style="color:blue";>Lawful: Crown of Protection: Provides a 100HP shield that refreshes every 5 seconds. The shield is unaffected by armor. This crown drains the player's piety at a rate of 0.03 piety/second. Initial piety cost is ~6200, but will only consume 6000.

Neutral: Crown of Thorns: Doubles and reflects any damage taken by the wearer. When you heal, you gain shields equal to half the healing for 15 seconds. The shield is unaffected by armor. Incoming debuff duration is halved, and you are more resistant to corruption and blood-curse buildup. This crown drains the player's piety at a rate of 0.02 piety/second. Initial piety cost is ~4200, but will only consume 4000.

<span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic: Crown of Storms: On kill, summon chain lightning to instantly zap up to 5 nearby targets. There is a rare chance for any of your attacks to summon a powerful lightning strike. This crown drains the player's piety at a rate of 0.01 piety/second. Initial piety cost is ~2200, but will only consume 2000.

Crowns disappear if the player's piety drains to 0. Crowns may also disappear on death.

Players may possess multiple crowns at the same time but at the heavy cost of managing multiple piety alignments.

Neutral: 250 piety

The shield is unaffected by armour. This crown drains the player's piety at a rate of 0.03 piety/second. Initial piety cost is ~6200, but will only consume 6000.

Neutral: Crown of Thorns: Doubles and reflects any damage taken by the wearer (Reflected damage is based on incoming damage BEFORE armor and shields). Additionally, when you heal, you gain a shield for 15 seconds equal to half the healing. The shield is unaffected by armor. This crown drains the player's piety at a rate of 0.02 piety/second. Initial piety cost is ~4200, but will only consume 4000.

<span style="color:magenta";>Chaotic: Crown of Storms: Spawns an electric projectile, on kill, and will attempt to hit another nearby enemy. There is a rare chance for any of your attacks to summon a lightning strike.

Crafting
Whilst in the dungeon, players can come across various items through miniboss/boss drops. Serving no immediate purpose to the player, if they're able to keep a hold of it for long enough and has a combination of items in their inventory, they can combine multiple items to create substantially stronger items.

Curses
Curses can be removed via prayers, but only by one at a time. (/pray remove curse) This prayer uses 100% of the player's Prayer Power. Piety costs are as such:

<span style="color:blue";>Lawful: 100 piety

Ranged
There are two bow types that players can choose from: swiftbows and crossbows. Crossbows are perfect for long range attacks given their higher projectile speed alongside being accurate while standing still. This is offset by its slower firing speed and no base recovery chance compared to swiftbows.
Swiftbows have the potential to rival the DPS of most weapons due to their fast firing speed and high recovery chance. They lack the high projectile speed that crossbows have and generally have poor accuracy.

Bows use arrows to fire, so you need to manage your resources to use a bow. Arrows can be replenished from dungeon shops, chests, or through the use of quivers. Arrows also have a recovery chance depending on which bow you're using and armor you're wearing (See Ranged Armor below).
All bows have a special attack feature alongside their basic attack. Unlike Legendaries, they don't tap into one's "special attack gauge" but rely on a cooldown between uses. Swiftbows will rapidly fire arrows, whereas crossbows will shoot out arrows in a shotgun-like pattern. Using one's special attack doesn't use up arrows, but requires for ranger-type armour to be equipped.

Arrow Modifiers
Rangers have select amount of items that they can use to apply unique effects to their arrows. The amount of arrows that are affected can be increased through the usage of Ranger-class armour.
After the 1.2 update was released, all of the melees were reworked to have special abilities when used in conjunction with melee-type armour alongside having unique characteristics. These abilities do not tap into the player's "special attack energy".
Dagger - Has the highest DPS and equip time, but lacks range.
Battleaxe - Has a two swing combo that can push back enemies alongside hitting multiple targets at once.
Whilst in the dungeon, players can come across various items through miniboss/boss drops. Serving no immediate purpose to the player, if they're able to keep a hold of it for long enough and has a combination of items in their inventory, they can combine multiple items to create substantially stronger items.
There are a total of 5 bows, with most being purchasable in town. There is a Novice Bow, Apprentice Bow, Master Bow, Scatter Bow, and the Crystal Bow. Each bow has a draw time before it's ready to fire.

Bows use arrows to fire, so you need to manage your resources to use a bow. Arrows can be obtained from dungeon shops as well as from treasure chests and bosses/minibosses. Arrows also have a recovery chance depending on which bow you're using, and armor you're wearing (See Ranged Armor below).

The base amount of arrows a player can hold is 25, but this can be raised with Ranger armor, (See Ranged armor below), or by holding Quivers in one's inventory. There are 10-slot quivers sold in town for 100 gold and 25-slot quivers that can be found in the dungeon from boss/miniboss drops, and rarely found in dungeon shops for ~1,200 gold.
